Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Briem, an Icelandic performer. She's best known for playing Jane Seymour, the young woman who will become the 3rd Queen of Henry VIII on the television series The Tudors. Briem's acting journey began in the National Theater Iceland when she was just 9 years old. Briem had been an actor in Iceland when she was a child. Briem was then 16 years old when she was a teenager when she moved to London and took part in her first production, Lenin In Love for the New End Theater. Briem was 19, and was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. There she studied for three years. Briem earned her degree in Drama and also won the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. While studying at RADA the actor performed in various plays such as The Cherry Garden of Anton Chekhov and the play Bernarda Alba's house by Federico Garcia Lorca.
